Created by Rod Serling, the original TV series premiered on October 2, 1959, starting a franchise that would expand to include various TV series, motion pictures, a TV movie, and numerous books, plays and comics.
As The Twilight Zone has many timeless tales told and to tell, it has undergone many revivals by generations of aspiring storytellers, with a modern-day revival by Jordan Peele currently airing.
