I enjoyed everything about this recording. What got me interested in getting it was some information I had been reading about Julian "Cannonball" Adderley, as I was reading on more somehow I stumbled across Pepper Adams and discovered he and bassist George Mraz had some involvement in the writing of the title track Julian - as a tribute to Cannonball Adderley. Another reason I found this disc to be of interest is the adding of another recording to my collection by Pepper Adams and as a bonus with George Mraz and the fact it was recorded live. Double treat!!
