Since 1986, the Cultural Arts Council Douglasville/Douglas County has offered high-quality cultural events and arts activities in our community.

Celebrating over 35 years of service, the Cultural Arts Council presents a sophisticated and diverse mix of programs including monthly exhibitsarts education in schools, hands-on workshops and classes for children and adults, gallery talks, the Taste of Douglasville Festival, Douglas County’s Annual Chili Cook-Off, Commissioned Public Art Projects, the beloved Spring family event, the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, and so much more!

The Arts & Culture Campus Project

With the help of community members and arts patrons from across the country, the CAC is embarking on an ambitious plan to create a stunning arts and culture centerpiece right in the heart of downtown Douglasville.

The CAC’s Arts & Culture Campus is poised to become the first multipurpose campus in the county dedicated to the arts and Douglas County’s uniquely diverse culture. We will create a space where everyone is welcome, everyone is wanted, and everyone has a place to grow and shine creatively in our town.

As we work toward achieving this vision, we invite you to follow our progress and to help us in any way you can. Money is not the only way to aid in this journey. So, give what you can, but know that your enthusiasm for the project, and your word of mouth around town, is also a donation to the cause.

The CAC’s Vision for the Future

It’s essential to dream big, and equally important to have a plan on how to make the dream real. Learn more about our five-year plan in this video:
