International Art Academy

Who We Are

The International Art Academy is an international nonprofit organization training, education, and certifying examinations in 500 specialties related to the arts.
The International Academy of Arts has branches, examination centers and representatives in almost all countries of the world.

The International Art Academy offers the possibility to all artists, students, teachers, professionals (of all specialties), from all over the world and from any school and university to obtain internationally recognized certificates and diplomas only by examinations.

The specificity and originality of this facility is in the fact that every professional acquires the degrees of the International Art Academy guaranteeing international studies, without travel and accommodation abroad.

It is worth noting that candidates can prepare for the exams with teachers who wish to any school in Greece or abroad.

The International Art Academy qualifications are recognized by QCA.

The entries for the first period of the International Art Academy's examinations are ongoing.
The International Art Academy provides classified examinations in 500 specialties in the following areas:
Music, Literature, Fine Art, Theater, Dance, Cinema, Video, Photography, Art Conservation, Show Business, Culture Production , Culture Management, Culture Economics, Journalism, Media and Communications

World Guitar Day

World Guitar Day was established in 2021 on the initiative of guitarist - composer - professor Yorgos Foudoulis, under the auspices of UNESCO, International Art Academy and dozens of international organizations of high prestige and great scope.
World Guitar Day has been announced in the UN member states and will be celebrated worldwide every year on October 18.

Each Institution can celebrate World Guitar Day in its own way and can optionally send its schedule to the Coordination Team in a timely manner, to be featured in the overall program of World Guitar Day.
(Alternatively the festive event period may include more days, eg from 15 to 22 October).

Those Organizations or persons wishing to receive official representation and coordinate with the central program of events, should contact the World Guitar Day Coordination Office for information and support.

The International Art Academy in collaboration with "Foudoulis' Conservatory", "Volos World Guitar Festival", "Volos World Guitar Orchestra", "World Guitar Center", organizes the "KITHARA" World Competition 2022, focusing on the Guitar
(solo guitar, music ensembles, guitar ensembles, orchestras, etc.)

Any Guitarist concerned (regardless of age, level and nationality) can participate in the Contest, interpreting a work of his choice and a work by Yorgos Foudoulis or Damien Aribert (the score will be sent to all interested parties by e-mail).

Any interested Composer (regardless of age and nationality) can take part in the competition, with a Composition that contains the Guitar as a main instrument or accompaniment or as part of a musical ensemble.
