Plutarch: Greek Lives
Plutarch's "Parallel Lives" are an important source of information about Greek history in the 4th and 3rd centuries B.C. This selection of lives is restricted to Greeks who lived during that period; a translation of all of the "Parallel Lives" can be found on the Lacus Curtius website.
The translations are by John & William Langhorne (1770), but updated with changes to a few of the words and spellings.
