A Total of 31,276 Violations Committed in Construction Sector in 2024, Labour Inspectors Say
Just over 31,276 violations in the construction sector were detected by labour inspectors in 2024, the General Labour Inspectorate Executive Agency (GIT) said Friday. In 2024, inspectors carried out 6,682 inspections in the sector, with the total number of violations found exceeding 30,000. Of these, 21,690 related to ensuring healthy and safe working conditions, and 9,460 concerned the implementation of employment relations.
