Description

Standard and Colour of the Ministry for State Security (Standarte und Truppenflagge des Ministeriums für Staatssicherheit or StaSi). Flag since 1960 until December 1989. A new secret service was established in December 1989, the Office for National Security (Amt für Nationale Sicherheit or NaSi) which had no flag.
