What We Do
At the Hampton Roads Chamber, we work hard to create a pro-business environment for our region’s businesses. Through our economic development initiatives, professional development programs, and advocacy, we are able to achieve our mission of setting the conditions for businesses to succeed.
Foster Economic Development
The Chamber strives to improve our local economy by working with the Hampton Roads Alliance (757Alliance) to attract new business to the area and help existing businesses to expand. We work to improve the local workforce, provide leadership development programs and support small businesses.
Opportunities to Connect
Through our events, the Chamber provides a platform for our members to gain valuable insight from prominent business and government leaders, provide awareness regarding pertinent issues affecting the region’s leading industries, and the opportunity to build a valuable network of peers! These programs offer opportunities for business-to-business connections and create an environment for businesses to thrive.
Advocating for the Business Community
A fundamental component of the Hampton Roads Chamber’s mission is to advocate the views of the business community to our elected representatives at the state and local levels. The Chamber takes an active role in developing and promoting policy positions on critical issues affecting the business community.
