Kid Icarus: Uprising Developer Closes - IGN

Project Sora, the independent studio behind Kid Icarus: Uprising, has been dissolved, according to a report from andriasang.com.The studio's website states that the closure occurred on June 30, with the website itself set to shut down by July 31. A reason is yet to be given for the closure.

The studio was formed in 2009 by Masahiro Sakurai, and Kid Icarus: Uprising was its only release. Sakurai and Sora Ltd. are currently working on the Wii U and 3DS versions of Super Smash Bros.with Namco Bandai.
