Jana Pittman

Jana Pittman, Summer and Winter Olympian, two-time World Champion and four-time Commonwealth Champion in athletics, exemplifies resilience and determination.
After a series of injuries hampered her track and field career, she transitioned to bobsledding, becoming the first Australian woman to compete in both Summer (2000, 2004) and Winter (2014) Olympic Games.
Beyond sports, Jana earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with First Class Honours from Western Sydney University in 2019 and is now a Registrar in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She also holds a Master of Reproductive Medicine from the University of NSW.
A dedicated mother of six, including twins, Jana is also an ambassador for the Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation and participated in SAS Australia in 2021, where she was the final female standing. She also participated in the Amazing Race Australia in 2023, alongside her eldest son Cornelis.
