“We stayed at the Grand Hotel for a couple days, at the end of January, for the SJHL-MJHL showcase. We stopped in to the Blue Marble for some appies before our first game and said we’d be back later for supper. Ryan was our server and while we dine out quite often, he is probably THE BEST person to oversee a restaurant. Anywhere. He made great recommendations on the menu, was attentive to detail, answered questions and has an amazing personality! We came back on day two for supper as well, instead of going elsewhere as we had initially planned. Try the spring rolls, calamari, salmon, short ribs, chicken, steak… and dessert! If you are staying at this hotel, you won’t need to eat elsewhere - the Blue Marble is where it’s at!”

“My husband had the delicious fish tacos! They were flavourful, and warm! Very well done. I had the fantastic pickerel cheeks! Delicious pickerel cheeks on a slice of bread with mushrooms and tomatoes. Yummmmm! I also had a half cranberry cashew salad. Wow! Delicious and fresh. Very good! We sat outside and it was a beautiful day. With a little wind. So nice!! Waitress was excellent and kept checking in on us. Friendly and helpful. We loved our visit for our couple’s lunch! We loved being able to see the mural boardwalk and the lake. So awesome! Highly recommend!”
