Valentin Debise is another rider looking to take his development on a stage in the Moto2 class in 2011, as the Frenchman prepares for his second campaign in the intermediate category.
Debise started racing 50cc machines aged 11 and in 2006 came fourth in his domestic 125 championship whilst also riding two rounds of the Spanish championship for the Red Bull MotoGP Academy. In 2008 he was crowned French 125 Champion, earning him a ride in the World Championship for 2009 in the final season of the 250cc class. The youngest rider in the category he acquitted himself well, scoring 18 points and finishing 21st. Taking on Moto2’s inaugural season with the WTR team, Debise this year rides with the Speed Up outfit as he aims to take his first Moto2 points.
