ABSTRACT
Elizabeth Halsey, a Chicago-area middle school teacher who abuses her students and sleeps through classes, finds her plans to quit teaching and live the life of a gold-digger scuttled when she is unceremoniously dumped by her wealthy fiance. Failing to win over the heart of a similarly wealthy substitute teacher upon returning to her old profession, Elizabeth turns to a variety of schemes ranging from manipulating parents into giving her more money for school supplies to sex with people in important positions of power in order to raise quick cash for a boob job.
