Biography
German fencer Georg Stöhr, affiliated with the Fechtclub Offenbach, was eliminated in the first round of the individual épée and sabre at the 1908 London Olympics. At Stockholm in 1912 he was eliminated in the second round of the individual sabre, and with the German sabre team he qualified for the semifinals but did not reach the final. After World War II he was one of the main sports administrators to help reorganize fencing in Offenbach after the Allies allowed the sport.
