Olympedia – Ed Wright
Biography
Ed Wright fenced for Salle Santelli and attended New York City Community College. He was team foil champion at the US Olympic Festival four times, and was New York state champion in 1979-80 and 1982-84. He made the finals at the US Championships in 1975 and 1985-86. He worked as a dental technician in the 1970s but later settled near Cincinnati, Ohio, where he taught and coached fencing. Wright was US Veteran Champion in foil in 1996.
