Biography
Fabio Bonacina was a gymnast who competed at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics. In 1953 he joined the Pro Patria club, after having been with Vigili del Fuoco (the fire brigade) at the time of the Olympics. He took part in the 1954 World Championships. In 1951 Bonacina won seven medals at the Mediterranean Games, including a gold medal in the team horizontal bar event. He later worked with Pro Patria as a technical and executive advisor and in 1980 became President of the gymnastics section of the club.
