Biography
East German judoka Torsten Bréchôt, born Torsten Oehmigen, won the bronze medal in the half-middleweight class at the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games. In 1985 and 1988, he won national titles and was the silver medalist at the 1985 World Championships. Bréchôt later became a physiotherapist, and also started coaching at Berlin.
