Olympedia – Henry Homburger
Biography
Henry Homburger attended college in Indiana where he studied engineering. He came back to Lake Placid and worked for many years as a civil engineer Homburger was instrumental in helping design and then redesign the Mt. Von Hoevenburg bobsled run in Lake Placid. He put his knowledge of the course to good use at the 1932 Olympics to win a silver medal. He also slid on the winning 4-man team at the 1931 and 1932 North American and AAU Championships.
