Kirsty Coventry of Zimbabwe was elected following one round of voting at the 144th IOC Session in Costa Navarino, Greece.

Seven candidates did compete in the election for the presidency of the International Olympic Committee at the 144th IOC Session held from 18 to 21 March 2025 in Greece. Kirsty Coventry of Zimbabwe was elected as the 10th President of the International Olympic Committee, the first female President in IOC history.
