Democratic congressional candidate Mike Parrish won the endorsement of State Senator Andy Dinniman today.
“Mike Parrish is a common sense problem solver, and we need him fighting for us in Congress. He understands the importance of education as a key to greater opportunities for our children and future growth for Pennsylvania families,” said Dinniman. “We need his leadership and extensive business experience to make the right decisions when it comes to creating more jobs and a better business climate for promising new companies. As our Congressman, Mike Parrish will be a true advocate for the people of Chester County and the Sixth Congressional District.”
“I’m grateful to Senator Dinniman for his years of selfless service to Chester County and continued support of my candidacy to represent Chester, Berks,Montgomery and Lebanon Counties in Congress,” Parrish responded. “His sage advice and continued mentorship mean a lot to me, as we embark upon this campaign to change Washington.”
Dinniman, a former Chester County Commissioner, has served as State Senator of the 19th district since 2006.
The Sixth Congressional District consists of parts of Chester, Montgomery, Berks and Lebanon Counties.
Parrish’s Democratic primary opponent is West Whiteland Township Supervisor Joe Denham. They are competing to take on freshman GOP Congressman Ryan Costello.
