Hi There! We Are

We’re Saint Mary’s University Students’ Association, but you can call us SMUSA! We are a not-for-profit organization founded in 1966 to provide services, support, advocacy, and representation to all of its members: the students of Saint Mary’s University.

Upcoming Events

Location: 1181 Hollis Street, The Westin NS

Join the Commerce Society in the largest society event of the year, at the 50th Annual Business Dinner! Keynoted by a SMU alumnus, the dinner is a formal networking gala designed to strengthen our local and global communities and inspire students to realize their full potential. Join us to network with a diverse crowd of industry leaders, alumni, faculty, and students, all under one roof! The keynote speaker will be Robert P Kelly, past chancellor of SMU, former CEO of Bank of New York Mellon, and current board member of S&P Global. The event is formal attire, open to all ages!

Arts students and faculty members are invited! The gala will include dancing, a raffle, a cash bar, and hot and cold snacks. Semi-formal attire suggested!
