The Ghostbusters firehouse should be condemned. There's serious metal fatigue in all the load-bearing members, the wiring is sub-standard, making it inadequate for the power needs of its residents, and the neighborhood is like a demilitarized zone.

After meeting Ectronymous Diamatron and the ghostly Starscream, the Ghostbusters bargained a ride back to their firehouse from the Autobot in exchange for spare parts to repair his communicator. Ghosts of Cybertron Part 2 When they arrived, the unflappable Janine Melnitz rebranded the Autobot as "Ectotron" before he and Ray Stantz fixed the broken communicator and called Optimus Prime. While this happened, Peter Venkman, suspicious of Starscream's motives, trapped the Seeker in a ghost trap. When a call about a ghost in Brooklyn came in, the firehouse was left abandoned allowing Kremzeek to sneak in and overload the ghost trap, freeing Starscream. When the Ghostbusters returned, they found Optimus waiting for them, having become acquainted with the vandals of New York City, and that Starscream had been freed from his trap. Ghosts of Cybertron Part 3 To better accommodate their alien guests, the Ghostbusters temporarily relocated to their more spacious warehouse in Red Hook.
