Legends Comic: Bonus Edition Vol. 34 - Transformers Wiki
Mindwipe dominates the world by resurrecting Devil Z and borrowing his power, only to learn the price of dealing with the devil.
Synopsis
Through a dark magic ritual, Mindwipe is able to resurrect Devil Z into the Legends World, asking him for a new transtector since Tarantulas has been arrested and can't build him one. Devil Z complies and also grants him Servant, who can transform into a megaphone mode that amplifies Mindwipe's hypnotic spells to overpowering levels. With this power, Mindwipe hypnotizes the other employees of Decepticon Tera-Kura Co. and has them throw out Megatron and make him the new chairman. When Weirdwolf and Skullcruncher complain that he's being unfair, he hypnotizes even them, then goes on to brainwash the rest of the world into his loyal servants.
Once his goal is achieved, however, Mindwipe grows pensive: being surrounded by cheering masses is no fun when you know they're all brainwashed and nobody really cares for you. Devil Z then tells him what he wants for his end of the bargain, namely the life energy of all Mindwipe's subjects, so that he can restore his full strength. Mindwipe is aghast, arguing that he has friends among his subjects, and is simply told that he shouldn't have hypnotized them then. When he still refuses, Devil Z has Servant remove his head and takes the transtector for himself, setting out to absorb the world's life energy. Mindwipe is saved from Servant's grasp by Megatron, whose repeated exposure to the Galvatron body has made him immune to mind control, allowing the both of them to strike back at Devil Z with a spell designed to send him back to wherever he came from. Everyone is freed from the hypnotism, Megatron warns Mindwipe against borrowing power from devils again, and all's well that ends well... except a faint glow remains in Mindwipe's transtector...
