John Pitt was born in 1704.2 He was the son of George Pitt and Lora Grey.3 He married Marcia Morgan.2 He died in February 1787.2
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wareham between 1734 and 1747.4 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wareham between 1748 and 1750.4 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dorchester between 1751 and 1761.4 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wareham between 1761 and 1768.4 He lived at Encombe, Dorset, EnglandG.1

Hester Frances Cholmondeley was born on 8 July 1763.1 She was the daughter of Rev. Hon. Robert Cholmondeley and Mary Woffington.1 She was baptised on 2 August 1763 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.1 She married Sir William Bellingham, 1st Bt., son of Colonel Alan Bellingham and Alice Montgomery, on 3 December 1783.1 She died on 10 January 1844 at age 80 at Dunany House, County Louth, IrelandG, without issue.1 She was buried at Castle Bellingham, County Louth, IrelandG.1 Her will was proven (by probate) in July 1844.1
Her married name became Bellingham.

Sir William Bellingham, 1st Bt. was born circa 1756.1 He was the son of Colonel Alan Bellingham and Alice Montgomery.1 He married Hester Frances Cholmondeley, daughter of Rev. Hon. Robert Cholmondeley and Mary Woffington, on 3 December 1783.1 He died on 27 October 1826 at Langley Farm, Beckenham, Kent, EnglandG, without issue.1 His will was proven (by probate) in December 1826.1
He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, in 1778 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Reigate between 1784 and 1789.1 He was a Commissioner for the victualling of the Navy in 1789.1 He was Private Secretary to the Rt. Hon. William Pitt.1 He was created 1st Baronet Bellingham, of Castle Bellingham, co. Louth [Ireland] on 19 April 1796, with a special remainder to the heirs male of his father.2 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)1 He was Receiver-General of the Land and Assessed Taxes for London.1
