Wanda Gag House – Living Museum & Gallery

Beyond her renowned children’s book “Millions of Cats”, Wanda Gág’s artistic legacy continues to inspire artists and art enthusiasts internationally, and, thus, she remains a prominent figure in the global art world. Her artworks have been showcased in prestigious institutions such as the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the British Museum and the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), reflecting her compassionate portrayal of everyday life.

With the recent opening at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City and the new exhibit of several new acquisitions in New Ulm, author, painter, print maker and suffragette Wanda Gág (1893-1946) is back in the limelight. Also highlighted are the works of Anton and Flavia Gag.

Beyond millions of cats, Wanda Gag has created many more books. This year we are highlighting “Nothing At All” the story of three little dogs, one who is invisible.
