As part of the capstone component in the Global Scholars Diploma program, students across the District’s three high schools are tackling a global issue by addressing it at a local level.

Two Westerville North High School students, Sadn Alnuaimi and Aya Sofia Al-Saadoon, shared the impact of the Global Scholars Program during the Franklin County Board of Commissioners meeting on Tuesday.

Westerville students currently in grades 7-11 can join an international education experience in 2026. Students and parents must RSVP to attend the informational meeting at 7 p.m. March 5 in the Westerville South High School media center. 

The Westerville City Schools Competition Dance Team is hosting a dance clinic and parent info session for those interested in learning more about the group on March 16 at Westerville North High School.

Tuesday’s crosstown matchup between the Westerville Central and Westerville South boys' basketball teams was packed with living history.

Five Westerville seniors are finalists in the 70th annual National Merit Scholarship Program, according to a recent announcement by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC).
