Carl Olof Sjøqvist

Swedish neurological surgeon, born December 9, 1901, Stockholm; died December 4, 1954, Stockholm.
Carl Olof Sjöqvist was the son of John Sjöqvist (born 1863), professor of medical chemistry and pharmacy at the Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, and countess Maria Lovisa Hermanson. In 1929 he married Inez Maria Segardt, born 1899. He was the first head of the neurosurgical clinic at the Södersjukhuset in Stockhoolm.
