This collection of Leon Trice's political photographs spans the 1920s-1940s, or later, with most of the photographs being from the late 1920s through 1930s. Many are undated. It depicts some of Louisiana's most famous twentieth-century elected officials in a variety of situations--campaigning, at home with family, in staged settings, at work, and even lying in repose. Among the political leaders featured are Huey P. Long, Earl K. Long, Richard Leche, O.K. Allen, and others. Negatives accompany some of the prints. Also included are a few miscellaneous prints from the Leon Trice Photography studio. The collection has been digitized and appears in the Louisiana Digital Library under the same title
