Helhound
- Not to be confused with Hell hound or Helhound (skeletal hound).

Helhounds[1][2][3] are gigantic, three-headed hounds found in the Shadowlands realms of Maldraxxus and Revendreth, as well as Helya's domain of Helheim. Maldraxxus' House of the Chosen use helhounds as war companions.

Helhounds are tamable by hunters as part of the hound family.
Trivia[]
- Most helhounds' names are references to Norse mythology, but their appearance bears more similarity to Cerberus, the multi-headed guard hound of the underworld in Greek mythology.
- They are similar to the core hounds in which they are also dog-like creatures with more than one head. Although, the Core Hounds have only two heads whereas the helhounds have three.

Although helhounds were initially only seen in Helheim during World of Warcraft: Legion, their presence in the Shadowlands likely means that they originate from the realms of Death and were only introduced to Helheim through Helya's knowledge of the Shadowlands and/or her alliance with the Jailer.
