Paw'don Village is a pandaren village just north of Garrosh'ar Point, led by Mayor Sunke Khang. The village is divided into two parts, connected by a bridge.
Unlike the usual brews produced by the pandaren, Paw'don Village is known for their apple cider, which is prized throughout the Jade Forest.[1] They are thus dependent on their apple orchard; it not only provides the villagers' food supply, but the village's livelihood as well.[2]
A direct portal to Paw'don Village, maintained by Tushui Magisters, exists in the Wizard's Sanctum in Stormwind.
History[]
After Sunke Khang refused to trade with their leader, the Horde abducted several of his village's children as bargaining chips, and although he called in the Shado-Pan, they were in Kun-Lai Summit and therefore several days away.[3] They also cut down his apple tree orchard, upon which Paw'don depended heavily for its harvest, food and livelihood.[4] However, some Alliance adventurers managed to save some of the village's trees and children, earning Khang's gratitude and causing him to ally Paw'don with the Alliance.
Notable inhabitants[]
Wayward Landing[]
- Main article: Wayward Landing
Early in the beta of Mists of Pandaria, this town was a forested area called Wayward Landing where players would have to complete quests related to the Alliance establishing a foothold in the area. The area was rebooted in a later build to draw more attention to the Horde versus Alliance conflict. There are still references here and there to this mysterious landing in NPC comments, particularly by Admiral Taylor.
Notes[]
- Paw'don roots and vegetables are used for
[Seared Sea Mist Noodles].
