Frostbrood Proto-Wyrm is a proto-dragon flying mount.

This mount was obtainable in retail World of Warcraft after creating and finishing the death knight starting experience in Wrath of the Lich King Classic, which ends with 
[8-30] Where Kings Walk or 
[55] Warchief's Blessing. It was released on 8 September 2022, and was available to unlock until Dragonflight released on 28 November 2022.[1]

The same magic of undeath that raised the Frostbrood into the Lich King's service has infused this primal wyrm. Its loyalty and ferocity now serve those who defend Azeroth.

Few proto-dragons were considered part of the frostbrood--only those that were risen from powerful remains, the members of long-forgotten draconic flights.[1]

Summoning animation.
- The Proto-Wyrm has a unique summoning animation that depicts the player character gathering Domination energy in their hands to summon the mount. Dismounting causes a flicker of Domination energy around the player character's feet as well.
