Marguerite divorced Thomas J. Morgan in January of 1925. She married her second husband, John Alvin Wycliffe around June of 1926. On August 29, John Wycliffe leaped out of their car leaving his wife Marguerite in the car with no driver. Marguerite attempted to stop the car and then leaped out of the car. She was taken to the hospital and died shortly after of a fractured skull and internal injuries.
