Alex Caruso is a 6-5, 175-pound Shooting Guard from College Station (Texas) A&M Consolidated High School.

June 2011: Caruso had a stellar Pangos All-American Camp in Los Angeles. He showed better-than-expected hops and played fast and quick for his position. He was also scrappy, getting after it on the glass and mixing it up with bigger and stronger players. Caruso also showed off a nice jump shot and an ability to finish at the rim after using the dribble to get into the paint. Caruso has a high basketball IQ which helps him play quicker than he actually is. He needs to continue to develop his first step from the perimeter while improving his handles. He's definitely a face to basket player and needs to hone those skills to remain competitive at a high-major level.
