Tests as one of the more athletic tight ends and jumbo athletes in the 2020 cycle and was the fastest prospect over 220 pounds at The Opening Finals in the summer of 2019. Is highest-ranked prospect from Canada since Neville Gallimore (Oklahoma) in the 2015 cycle.Has advanced skills and physical ability as a pass catcher with his high-end speed pairing with a large catch radius and natural ball skills. Presents a considerable mismatch as a target when working up the seam. Primarily plays wide receiver for his school, but has the physical dimensions to develop into a pass-catching in-line tight end who can play flexed in the slot as well. Has shown very well in elite prospect camps during the off season prior to his senior year-a particularly important component of his evaluation given the competition level he faces in Canada. Will need to develop blocking skills to increase his value as an every down player in addition to continuing to hone his route-running and overall craft as a target in the passing game. Projects as a multi-year starter at the Power 5 level with the upside of developing into an early round NFL Draft pick.
