Labor Day is a minor event in the Animal Crossing series. This event, like many others, was taken out of Wild World. The event only appears in North American editions of the games.
Events[]
In Animal Crossing and City Folk[]
Tortimer keeps an eye on the player's progress in the game. If the player talks to him sometime during the day, he will set up a celebration of all the hard work that the player has done. When the player talks to him, he will also offer them a shop model in Animal Crossing, and a picnic basket in City Folk.
In New Leaf[]
Isabelle will give the player a picnic basket like the previous Animal Crossing Games. The player will receive the item if they talk to Isabelle in the Event Plaza. There will also be a cutout standee for three players, depicting two people playing tennis, and the other one cooking with a kebab in their hand.

- Although the event does not appear in Pocket Camp, it is mentioned by villagers on that day.
