SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS Official Site Exclusive Precautions with Transferring Save Data from PlayStation®4 to PlayStation®5 |SEGA

You can transfer your existing PlayStation®4 save data to the PlayStation®5.
Most of your progress will remain intact, except for the following:

• Trophy data will not carry over.
  • If there are trophies you haven't unlocked yet, you will be able to earn them normally by selecting Continue and playing with the transferred save data.
    
  • To unlock trophies that you have previously earned, you must select the New Game option with the save file you imported and fulfill the necessary conditions again.
    
• Some of your Online Mode data will not carry over.
  • You will be able to keep your Best Time records for each Act as well as other Online Mode records for SONIC GENERATIONS.
    Although you won't be able to transfer your leaderboard rankings or update your Best Time records on the PlayStation®4 version, playing the PlayStation®5 version will allow you to upload new records.
    
  • In SHADOW GENERATIONS, the stages you've unlocked will remain unlocked, but you won't be able to transfer any other Online Mode data.
    Additionally, you will not be able to transfer your Best Time data from the PlayStation®4 version, but it will be possible to set new records by playing the PlayStation®5 version.
