Alongside Veronica Cartwright, John Hurt, Dan O'Bannon, Terry Rawlings, Ridley Scott, Ronald Shusett, Tom Skerritt, and Harry Dean Stanton, she also won the DVD Exclusive Award for Best Audio Commentary (new for DVD) for Alien.[1] In addition to this, Weaver has been nominated for three Academy Awards (Best Actress for Aliens and Gorillas in the Mist, Best Supporting Actress for Working Girl), and has won two Golden Globes and a BAFTA.
