Worker
The Worker[1] is one adult form of the Xenomorph species. Also called Weavers, they concern themselves with matters of hive maintenance and caring for the Queen.

Creation[]
The worker is a stage 5 Xenomorph, molting from another adult form of Xenomorph according to the needs of the hive. Specifically, the worker transforms from a Drone, which shrinks into a smaller organism.
Biology & Behavior[]
Workers are, uniquely, one of the only adult castes of Xenomorph that could be described as non-violent. These small creatures only stand 1.2-1.8 meters, or around 4' to 6', significantly smaller than any other adult specimen. They rarely leave the hive, will not even pursue threats within the hive, and will flee if engaged. Workers not only maintain but build the hive. Instead of an Inner jaw, it has a long, pink proboscis for a tongue which it uses to secrete Hive resin. This resin is then shaped with the hands and feet.
Aside from their diminutive size, Workers are distinguished by their sickly, greyish-white Mesoskeletons. They rely on Drones and Sentries for their protection.
Workers facilitate the creation of 'super aliens' such as Praetorians and Crushers by providing their base forms, sometimes forcibly, with Royal Jelly. Chosen Drones will be given the Jelly to evolve into Praetorians and chosen Sentries will be fed jelly and raw metals.
Trivia[]
- The Albino Drone, with its milky white skin and long pinkish tongue, is strikingly similar to the description given to the Worker Xenomorph.[2]
- According to the description, the tongue even has a similar function of creating hive resin.[3]
