The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 7, 2014. Kathleen Henry (D) and Marc Steinorth (R) defeated Arthur Bustamonte (D) and Melissa O'Donnell (D) in the blanket primary. Steinorth defeated Henry in the general election.[1][2][3]
