Curry also ran for election to the Philadelphia City Council to represent District 9 in Pennsylvania. Curry did not appear on the ballot for the Democratic primary on May 21, 2019.

2015
The city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, held elections for mayor and city council on November 3, 2015. A primary election took place on May 19, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was March 10, 2015. In the Democratic primary election for District 9, Cherelle Parker was unopposed. In the Republican primary, Kevin Strickland was unopposed.[5] Parker defeated Strickland and Independent candidate Bobbie Curry in the general election. Incumbent Marian B. Tasco (D) did not run for re-election.[6][7]

2014
Elections for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 11, 2014. Incumbent Cherelle Parker was set to face Bobbie Curry in the Democratic primary, but Curry was removed from the ballot on April 17, 2014, leaving Parker unopposed. Parker was unchallenged in the general election.[8][9][10]
2012
Curry filed to run in the 2012 election for Pennsylvania House District 200, but was removed from the ballot on March 19 after a petition challenge.[11][12]
