Education
Fitzgerald received both his undergraduate degree in microbiology and his J.D. degree from Louisiana State University in 1997 and 2001, respectively.[3]
Career
Before his election to the court, Fitzgerald was a partner at the law firm of Cox Fitzgerald, LLC in Lafayette, Louisiana. He also previously practiced law with the firm of Jones Walker.[3]
