Cynthia T. Woodard is a judge of the 3rd Judicial District in Louisiana (Union and Lincoln Parishes). She was elected to this position in 1996.[1][2] She was re-elected in 2014 for a term beginning on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2020.[3][4]

Education
Woodard received her B.A. from the University of New Orleans and her J.D. from Louisiana State University. She was admitted to the practice of law in 1981.[5]
Career
Woodard worked as a partner of the law firm of McKeithen, Wear, Ryland & Woodard in Columbia, Louisiana. She then worked with her husband at the Ruston law firm now-called Woodard & Clement from 1990 until she was elected to the district court in 1996. She has also taught at Louisiana Tech University, Grambling State University and in the Louisiana State University's Criminal Justice Department.[1][6]
