Donald L. Cabell is a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He joined the court on January 21, 2015.[1] His current term will expire in 2031.[2]

Education

Cabell earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and his J.D. from the Northeastern University School of Law.[3]

Professional career

Prior to becoming and assistant United States attorney, Cabell was an associate for the law firms of Hale and Dorr and Peckham, Lobel, Casey, Prince and Tye.[3]

Cabell was appointed to be a federal magistrate judge of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts on November 6, 2014, and took the bench on January 21, 2015.[3] His current term will expire in 2031.[2]
