Elizabeth Lee is a judge for the Superior Court of San Mateo County in California. She has served on the court since 2005.[1][2]
2012 election
Lee ran for re-election to the superior court in 2012. As an unopposed incumbent, her name did not appear on the ballot. After the primary election, Lee was automatically re-elected.[3]

Education
Lee received her undergraduate degree in economics from the University of California at Berkeley and her J.D. from Columbia University Law School.[2]
Career
Lee was appointed to the court in July 2005 and elected to a full term in 2006. During her tenure on the court, she has served as a judge for the East Palo Youth Court from 2010 to 2011.[2]
Prior to her appointment, Lee served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of California from 1991 to 2005. During that time, she also was the Deputy Chief of the Organized Crime Strike Force from 1998 to 2005. Lee began her legal career as a Trial Attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice Anti-Trust Division. After two years, she became an Assistant U.S. Attorney with the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia. She served in that position from 1985 until 1988, when she went into private practice with the firm of Marron, Reid & Sheehy in San Francisco.[2]
