Angélica M. Ramsey is the superintendent of the Fort Worth Independent School District. She was appointed on August 30, 2022 and started serving in September 2022. Her previous career experience includes serving as superintendent of the Midland Independent School District and Pleasant Valley Elementary School District. She also held several administrative roles in the Santa Clara County Office of Education and the Socorro Independent School District.[1][2]

Past superintendents

  • Kent Paredes Scribner was the superintendent of the Fort Worth Independent School District from October 2015 until his retirement on August 31, 2022.[3] Scribner's previous career experience includes working as the superintendent of the Phoenix Union High School District.[4]
