Francis Dominic Murnaghan, Jr. (1920-2000) was a federal judge for the United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit.[1]

Murnaghan was nominated by President Jimmy Carter on May 8, 1979, to a new seat created by 92 Stat. 1629; he was confirmed by the Senate on July 12, 1979, and received commission the next day. He served until his death on August 31, 2000.[1]
