Frank Gordon Theis (1911-1998) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Kansas.

Theis was nominated by President Lyndon Johnson on January 16, 1967, to a new seat created by 80 Stat. 75; he was confirmed by the Senate on March 2, 1967, and received commission two days later. He served as chief judge from 1977 until he assumed senior status on July 31, 1981. He served until his death on January 17, 1998.[1] Theis was succeeded in this position by Sam Crow.
