Gary L. Taylor (1938-present) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Taylor was nominated by President George H.W. Bush on August 3, 1990, to a seat vacated by Ferdinand Francis Fernandez; he was confirmed by the Senate on September 28, 1990, and received commission on October 1, 1990. He assumed senior status on December 8, 2004. He served the Central District of California until his retirement on July 1, 2005. Taylor was succeeded in this position by Otis Wright.
