George Washington English (1866-1941) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Illinois.
He was nominated by President Woodrow Wilson on April 22, 1918 to replace Francis Marion Wright. He was confirmed by the Senate on May 3, 1918, and received commission that same day. He resigned on November 4, 1926. English died in July 1941.
