T.F. Gilroy Daly (1931-1996) was a federal judge for the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. He joined the court in 1977 after an appointment from Jimmy Carter. From 1983-1988, he served as the chief judge. He served the District of Connecticut until his death on July 11, 1996.[1]

Judicial nominations and appointments
District of Connecticut
Daly was nominated by President Jimmy Carter on June 29, 1977, to a seat vacated by Robert Zampano; he was confirmed by the Senate on August 5, 1977, and received commission that same day. From 1983-1988, he served as the chief judge. He served the District of Connecticut until his death on July 11, 1996.[1] Daly was succeeded in this position by Janet Hall.
